ScarWork

ScarWork is a very gentle non-invasive scar healing therapy.

Following surgery or trauma, different layers of tissue can sometimes get stuck during the healing process forming lumps, holes, ridges and gaps. Movement might be restricted and scars might feel uncomfortable or numb in places and might be seen as a disfigurement. Many people have an aversion to touching their scars because of how they look and how they feel. They can also be a reminder of a traumatic event.

ScarWork can change that around. ScarWork predominantly improves how scars feel, however the cosmetic effect can also be remarkable. Keloid scars, burns and skin grafts may also benefit. ScarWork is just as effective on very old scars – not just new ones.
